Wholesale Shoe Care Supplier Comparison Matrix

Place every supplier response against one requirement set. Keep gaps visible, distinguish statements from evidence, and compare total procurement scope rather than an isolated unit price.

WORKING MATRIX

Fields that expose non-equivalent offers

Use exact values where supplied and “not confirmed” where absent. Do not silently convert a missing answer into acceptance.

Price boundary

A lower unit price is not comparable until product contents, net quantity, packaging, currency, freight scope, destination charges, and exclusions match. A budget preference can guide outreach but does not prove market savings.

Compatibility boundary

Words such as universal, premium, natural, safe, protective, or eco-friendly require a defined meaning and evidence for the proposed item. Record intended footwear materials, directions, exclusions, and who evaluates the claim.

Evidence boundary

Document receipt is not equivalent to verification. Record exact formula or model, manufacturer, issuer, scope, date or revision, and differences between the document, sample, quotation, and intended production configuration.

A reproducible sample and document path

  1. Freeze RFQ revision, mandatory fields, acceptable alternatives, and sample questions.
  2. Receive a labeled sample and supplier response tied to the quoted item.
  3. Inspect appearance, dimensions, contents, pack count, instructions, and declared surfaces under the buyer's chosen conditions.
  4. Record results, exceptions, document references, approver, date, and unresolved questions.
  5. Approve, reject, or revise only the checked scope; repeat if formula, materials, packaging, or supplier route changes.

This path organizes procurement evidence. It is not a laboratory method and does not replace chemical, safety, performance, legal, or regulatory review.
